Art Deco treasures and Hollywood history

Experience a nostalgic treat while in Schroon in the charm of a local and historic movie theater. Plan to visit Schroon Lake's Strand Theatre, which has been in operation for more than 70 years, for a classic movie watching experience.

In addition to the many events and attractions of the Schroon Lake region, visitors have the opportunity to walk through old Hollywood at the Scaroon Manor Resort, now converted to a NYS DEC campground.
