Your Adirondack Basecamp

Worship

Methodists and Congregationalists organized in the town during the first half of the 1800s, together with many small schools. The Episcopalians, Baptists and Catholics built their churches before the century ended. Word of Life Fellowship purchased several of the summer camp properties as well as the former Brown Swan Club which is now a conference center. Word of Life Camps and Conferences serve visitors of all ages. The Schroon Lake region is home to many places of worship. Please check below to locate churches and organizations throughout the Schroon Lake Region and their respective worship schedules. And, from the Lions to the Fish and Game Club, view the list below of the many active community service and outdoor organizations and clubs.
