War Cannon Spirits is a distillery utilizing a refurbished and repurposed 200+ year old landmark building in Crown Point, NY. War Cannon Spirits offers a tasting room, restaurant, indoor and outdoor dining, outdoor games, a special event space, and a retail store onsite. The retail store offers an array of War Cannon Spirits products and apparel as well as beer, wine, and other items made throughout New York State.
Our Tasting Room Was Built In 1820. It was used as a mill when Putnam Creek was dammed and a pond existed behind the site. There were many alterations and additions over the last 200 years, yet the core still remains one of the oldest structures of its kind.
Schroon Sandwich Shop (seasonal, closed for winter)
Nestled in the picturesque Adirondack Mountains overlooking gorgeous Schroon Lake, the Schroon Sandwich Shop serves breakfast and lunch daily.
Frontier Town Gateway
Located right off Exit 29 of the Northway Frontier Town is your go-to stop for all things convenience. From food to camping gear, Gateway has it all!
A new generation of North Country families are now able to enjoy a taste of Frontier Town thanks to Muhammad “Mo” Ahmad, a local businessman intent on renewing this incredible asset and drawing adventurers to the shimmering lakes and wooded trails in the North Hudson area. The Frontier Town Gateway also provides a place for the local community to gather together over the warmth of a hot drink or delicious meal. The A-frame – the largest of its kind in the Northeast – has become a central hub for events and gatherings, and carries a variety of goods, from wares by local artisans to an assortment of camping gear and supplies. Events at the Frontier Town Gateway range from job fairs to car shows to bonfires with our Schroon Lake area neighbors! Plus, there’s plenty more to come in the future!
9 Mile Coffee Co.
9 Mile Coffee opened in June 2018 with the goal of bringing people and coffee together. We believe in community, and that a small destination town doesn’t have to live without great coffee. You can expect to be met by our friendly staff and a delicious cup of coffee that is always crafted with care. We proudly partner with Kru Coffee Roasters in Saratoga Springs, NY for all of our coffee needs!
