Starry Night Cabins was originally built in the 1930’s by the Rawlins family and was appropriately named “Rawlins Motel.” The property lodged visitors under that name until shortly after new owners purchased the property in August of 2001.
The Adirondack Mountains are famous for their clear, crisp summer nights, hence the name change! The new name seemed to capture the peacefulness and tranquility of the night air. Owners wanted to establish a special, unique setting so people could enjoy the area’s activities during the day and relax around the campfire beneath the bright stars at night.
Since those first days, facilities have undergone some major renovations as part of an ongoing project to improve comfort and convenience. We are confident you will appreciate the new look. The cabins, furnishings, and amenities have been updated and improved.
