Take Exit 29 off of I-87, turn right, then turn left to head north on Route 9. Continue to the Sharp Bridge State Campground, which will be on the right. There is parking near the entrance. The trail is across the road, on the other side of Schroon Brook.
Limited but available with some scouting.
- Near the end of the trail you will come to a culvert that crosses under I-87. Do not pass through. From here head to your right along the embankment to a tricky crossing of Lindsay Brook, near a large water culvert. Once you get across follow the outlet upstream, where the vegetation is a bit thick, but you will quickly arrive at the shore of Gui Pond.
- The fishing is quite limited but it's a neat spot for the angler in you who desires a secluded spot.
- Use Lindsay Brook near the inlet for additional stream trout.
Always follow state fishing regulations and be sure to pick up a NYS Freshwater Fishing Guide at your local outfitters or regional DEC office.
